REPUBLIC DAY


Republic Day marks an important event in India's history. It commemorates the enactment of the Constitution of India which came into effect on January 26, 1950, and made the nation into a republic.  On this day in the year of 1950, our country was declared a Republic. This means our country was no more under the rule of some other country. Since then, every year 26th Jan is celebrated to enjoy and remember the historic independence of India from the British rule. On Republic Day the celebratory event takes place at the Rajpath in the national capital. The President unfurls the flag at the Rajpath. We are together cry out loud and make your motherland proud. Let us take a pledge at this republic day to live for India till the last breath of life. If you want to live with freedom, love your country! If you want freedom in real means, be free from dirt, pollution, and global warming.



The Delhi Republic Day parade is the largest and most important of the parades marking the Republic Day celebrations in India. The parade takes place every year on the 26th of January at Rajpath, New Delhi. It is the main attraction of India's Republic Day celebrations, which last for three days.The official Republic Day celebrations take place every year at Rajpath in New Delhi. The parade will begin from Rashtrapati Bhavan and end at India Gate. The route followed will be from Vijay Chowk via Rajpath, Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate Princess Palace, Tilak Marg to finally India Gate.The Republic Day Parade 2021 live telecast timing is scheduled to start at 9 am with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting Amar Jawan Jyoti. Later, President Ram Nath Kovind will unfurl the national flag.


On Independence day, flag hoisting takes place at the Red Fort in New Delhi. The Prime Minister addresses the nation from the ramparts of 'Lal Quila'..Rajendra Prasad heralded the historic birth of the Indian Republic on that day. Thereafter 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and was recognised as the Republic Day of India. The Constitution gave the citizens of India the power to choose their own government and paved the way for democracy.On Republic Day the celebratory event takes place at the Rajpath in the national capitalRajendra Prasad's began his first term of office as President of the Indian Union. The Constituent Assembly became the Parliament of India under the transitional provisions of the new Constitution. On the eve of Republic Day, the President addresses the nation.


INDEPENDENCE DAY



Independence day is celebrated in Sunday

On 15 August 1947, the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. Independence Day is observed throughout India with flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. It is a national holiday.

The Ashoka Chakra is rendered in navy blue on a white background replacing the symbol of the charkha of the pre-independence version of the flag. The chakra signifies that there is life in movement and death in stagnation. It represents the dynamism of a peaceful change. India should not resist the change.
