Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed primarily on December 25 as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. 

Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. Christmas was traditionally a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus, but in the early 20th century, it also became a secular family holiday, observed by Christians and non-Christians alike.

Christmas Eve is the evening or entire day before Christmas Day, the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus. Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day.

There are many sayings in the bible reminding us why do we celebrate Christmas. We commemorate God's love and condescension by celebrating Christmas. We recognize what needs to be done while even one person's life is in jeopardy.

 God saw an entire globe of people in grave danger when He gazed down on our sinful earth. We celebrate Christmas because it was during this season that the Savior of the World came to rescue us from our miserable predicament. God did not remain in heaven; He came down to earth to be among us.
