Morphology - definition Morphology  is a branch of  biology  dealing with the study of the form and structure of  organisms  and their specific structural features. It is  the study of the size, shape, and structure of animals, plants, and microorganisms and of the relationships of their constituent parts . The term refers to the general aspects of biological form and arrangement of the parts of a plant or an animal. Huma ORIGIN OF ENGLISH   The history of English is conventionally, if perhaps too neatly, divided into three periods usually called  Old English (or Anglo-Saxon), Middle English, and Modern English .  According to a 2009 study by researchers at Reading University, the oldest words in the English language include  “I“, “we“, “who“, “two” and “three“ , all of which date back tens of thousands of years. A majority of the words used in English today are of foreign origin. English still derives much of its vocabulary from Latin and Greek, but we have also borrowed words from nearly all of the languages in Europe. English is a West Germanic language that originated from Ingvaeonic languages brought to Britain in the mid-5th to 7th centuries AD by Anglo-Saxon migrants from what is now northwest Germany, southern Denmark, and the Netherlands.
