Theology - the study of nature of divine

Image
Theology  Theology is the systematic study of the nature of the divine, or more broadly of religious belief. It is taught as an academic discipline, typically in universities and seminaries.  It occupies itself with the unique content of analyzing the supernatural, but also deals with religious epistemology, asks and seeks to answer the question of revelation.  Revelation pertains to the acceptance of   God ,   gods , or   deities , as not only transcendent or above the natural world but also willing and able to interact with the natural world and to reveal themselves to humankind. Theologians use various forms of analysis and argument (experiential, philosophical, ethnographic, historical, and others) to help understand, explain, test, critique, defend or promote any myriad of religious topics.  As in the philosophy of ethics and case law, arguments often assume the existence of previously resolved questions and develop by making analogies from them to draw new inferences in new situa

The Fountain of Youth - story in short

Image
Story THE MYTHICAL FOUNTAIN An elderly man and his wife lived in the highlands a very long time ago. The elderly couple both performed housework; the old man was a woodcutter. They have been together for many a happy year. Sadly, they never produced any offspring. They feared that as they grew older, death would divide them. The older man visited the forest one day to gather some wood. However, he became lost in the forest. He spent many hours looking for the route, growing weary and dehydrated. He soon came across a spring in the woods and drank the water right away. He was startled to see his reflection. He was shocked to find himself young once more. He appeared to be a young man about twenty. He understood that he had discovered the fountain of youth. He immediately ran to report what had transpired. His wife instantly failed to identify him. I feel youthful again, the old guy exclaimed. When his wife saw him, she was incredibly shocked. She inquired, "Where is the spring? I

Mythological stories and definition

Image
MYTHOLOGY   A mythology is  a collection of myths or stories about a specific person, culture, religion, or any group with shared beliefs . Most people don't consider mythology to be entirely true, but they still take it seriously.  There are four basic theories of myth. Those theories are  the rational myth theory, functional myth theory, structural myth theory, and psychological myth theory .  The rational myth theory states that myths were created to explain natural events and forces.  The word myth  derives from the Greek mythos, which has a range of meanings from “word,” through “saying” and “story,” to “fiction” ; the unquestioned validity of mythos can be contrasted with logos, the word whose validity or truth can be argued and demonstrated.  Myths are stories that are based on tradition.  Some may have factual origins, while others are completely fictional . But myths are more than mere stories and they serve a more profound purpose in ancient and modern cultures.   The ear

What is Ecology, Types of Ecology and Importance of Ecology

Image
What is Ecology? Ecology is a branch of science, including human science, population, community, ecosystem, and biosphere. Ecology is the study of organisms, the environment, and how the organisms interact with each other and their environment. It is studied at various levels, such as organisms, populations, communities, biosphere, and ecosystems. An ecologist’s primary goal is to improve their understanding of life processes,  adaptations and habitats , interactions, and biodiversity of organisms.  If the ecology in an area is unhealthy, or worse, dies because there are no living organisms in the area, the environment will change to make it inhospitable for many other organisms to survive there. The easiest way to look at it is that animals shape the plants, and the planets shape the landscape. Without animals, certain plants would grow unchecked, out-competing other plants. If the plants that grow unchecked don’t include enough plants with roots, the soil will be vulnerable to erosio

Did you know the history of Cinderella

Image
Did you know the history of Cinderella?  HISTORY Cinderella was based on a real person, Rhodopis, a Greek hetaera (or courtesan) who was rumored to be an acquaintance of Aesop. A slave to Xanthes, her master eventually brought her to Egypt where, depending on who's telling the story, she was freed for a large sum of money by a merchant named Charaxus, or married the King of Egypt (the woman is fascinating and carries with her several tall tales, which you can read about at Wikipedia). It is with the latter rumor about Rhodopis's fate that the earliest version of the Cinderella fable appears. The contemporary Greek historian Strabo relates this fantastic tale. Variants of this story began to appear throughout the world. The story of Yeh-Shen is, according to Heidi Anne Heiner, author of Cinderella Tales From Around The World and the website SurLaLune Fairytales, "the oldest known Cinderella tale recorded in China," and indeed the first true Cinderella tale since it fea
